In this position, Sarah will lead a team of professionals while providing strategic leadership in the design and implementation of an integrated, comprehensive donor experience program.

Sarah has progressively advanced in her career working at the intersection of fundraising, donor relations, and stewardship. Most recently, Sarah served Dartmouth College as Senior Managing Director of the Dartmouth College Fund and Director of the Dartmouth Centennial Circle of Alumnae, where she was responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to enhance volunteer engagement and deepen donor connection to the institution.

Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in development, with deep expertise in navigating complex universities. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Sarah served as the Director, Stewardship and Donor Relations at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she successfully developed and executed a best-in-class comprehensive recognition and stewardship strategy for a $90M annual giving program. Sarah’s earlier career includes positions at Harvard University, Duke University, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, the Trustees of Reservations, the National Academies, and the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network.

Sarah was recognized by her colleagues at MIT with the Leading the Way Infinite Mile Award for willingness and commitment to go above and beyond, and for leading by example. An active member of the community, Sarah extends her leadership skills to the civic sector in a volunteer capacity, serving numerous nonprofits dedicated to animal welfare, environmental conservation, and civil rights. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Simmons University School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in English at Mary Washington College.
