Talent Citizen congratulates Amy Gingle on her appointment as Campaign Director at Boston Lyric Opera (BLO), effective April 13, 2026. Reporting to Managing Director of External Affairs Julia Propp and working in collaboration with Stanford Calderwood General Director & Chief Executive Officer Bradley Vernatter and colleagues across the Philanthropy and External Affairs team, Amy will be the lead architect and integrator for the campaign, bringing clarity, accountability, and shared purpose to goal setting, portfolio and performance management, and donor relations. Amy will be integral in providing strategic cohesion to align philanthropic strategies and storytelling in support of BLO’s ambitious vision and upcoming 50th Anniversary Campaign.
Amy has more than 20 years of experience in campaign strategy, prospect research and development, portfolio management, and pipeline development. Most recently, Amy served as Senior Director at the Orr Group, where she led client engagements to strengthen major and principal gift strategy. Previously, she held several roles at Year Up United (YUU) leading enterprise-wide prospect development, fundraising analytics, and pipeline strategy. The building and scaling of systems, processes, and teams contributed to Year Up’s success in reaching a bold five-year $400 million goal. Earlier in her career, Amy held roles at Massachusetts General Hospital and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Suffolk University. She serves on the board of Lynch Van Otterloo YMCA and is an active board member for Women in Development of Greater Boston.
