Talent Citizen is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Patschke as Associate Director of Individual Giving at Middle East Institute. Catherine will play a vital role in cultivating and deepening relationships with individual donors who are passionate about providing financial support for MEI’s mission of enhancing understanding between the people of the Middle East and the United States.

Catherine brings over six years of experience in fundraising and donor relations, having worked with a variety of esteemed organizations in the nonprofit sector. In her most recent role as Major Gifts Officer at the Army Historical Foundation, Catherine successfully managed a portfolio of high-level donors and executed on impactful donor engagement strategies.

Previously, Catherine was with Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, where she played a key role in cultivating major gift donations and led the planning of numerous high-profile fundraising events. She has also held positions with the Charter Cities Institute and the American Anthropological Association, where she honed her expertise in donor stewardship, event management, and strategic fundraising.

A passionate advocate for international relations and cross-cultural engagement, Catherine has traveled to 67 countries and possesses a deep understanding of global dynamics. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Dublin City University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies & Anthropology from Susquehanna University.
