Compared to other recruiters that I’ve worked with in the past and reflecting on the process, I give Talent Citizen a hats off. The preparation and intentionality in preparing me every step of the process was great. That has been one of the things that has stood out for me. Other search firms provide preps but aren’t intentional in connecting what the organization needs and wants to what the individual candidate brings as strengths or experiences. Reflecting back, it seemed like a lot to go through, but it prepared me as a candidate to excel and shine, which might not be the case with other firms. The process helped set expectations for what Wayne State University was looking for, giving me knowledge about what they are really going to look toward and prepared me more holistically.
