Known for his ability to connect operational dots with strategic clarity, Robert Diggs is Talent Citizen’s Advisor, Special Projects. Bridging his decade of experiences across executive search, for-profit, higher education, and nonprofit entities, Diggs supports innovation in the myriad ways that Talent Citizen can continue to serve its clients and candidates into the firm’s second decade and beyond.

Before Talent Citizen, Diggs spent nearly five years as an executive search consultant working with nonprofit and philanthropic clients across the country to source and attract top talent for their organizational needs. Prior to that, he spent a year and a half as the membership engagement lead for the U.S. branch of a global community of business leaders and changemakers, guiding the transition to fully virtual operations at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he spent more than five years as a collaborative strategist for a statewide higher education consortium of eleven colleges, working directly with the presidents and senior institutional leaders in his final two years as the primary driver of board relations, events curation, grants management and reporting, and strategic planning efforts as a one-person office.

Outside of work, Diggs is currently serving his final year as secretary of the board of the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance—the charitable sector watchdog of the BBB ecosystem.

Diggs holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government  from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where he also makes his home. A native Brooklynite, he remains a Mets fan, an avid tennis watcher (and very occasional player), and recently added the English Premier League side Brentford F.C. to his fandom list.
