Headshot of Leslie ConstansTalent Citizen is excited to announce that Leslie Constans will join Oregon Health & Science University Foundation as Senior Director of Foundation Communications, leading fundraising communications for one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier academic medical centers. In this role, Leslie will provide vision, leadership, and a strategic framework for aligning drivers of philanthropy with the OHSU Foundation’s communications.

Previously, Leslie served as Director of Digital and Brand Communications at Cambia Health Solutions, where she built brand and content strategy and communications, including positioning, messaging, and integrated brand communications (digital/social, PR, events, internal communications) for Cambia and its family of companies. At Cambia, Leslie held a leadership position at the Cambia Health Foundation, whose mission is to advance whole person care to build a just and inclusive health care system for all. Leslie is adept at working collaboratively across a complex organization and will bring those skills to bear leading the OHSU Foundation’s communications in collaborative alignment to further the mission of OHSU.

Prior to joining Cambia in 2013, Leslie served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Public Relations Manager for Knowledge Universe/KinderCare, Manager of Global Media Relations for Columbia Sportswear, and Director of Communications at Digimarc Corporation. Earlier in her career she held marketing positions at IBM and SAP. Leslie holds a BA in Journalism (cum laude) from the University of Oregon and is a graduate of the Portland Business Alliance’s 2020 Leadership Journey.

An early adopter of social media in corporate communications, Leslie currently serves as Board Chair of Socialmedia.org and was a member of the 2020 Executive Leadership Team for American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women. She has held volunteer roles at community non-profits, including Bridge Meadows, Start Making a Reader Today (SMART), Oregon Environmental Council, Wordstock, and Oregon Entrepreneurs Network. She also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of da Vinci Arts Middle School. Leslie is a voracious reader and a coffee enthusiast who enjoys everything that Portland has to offer.
