We are excited to announce that Laila Bell has joined the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation as Director of Evaluation, Learning, and Impact Stories! She will join an expanded team working with Foundation staff, grantees, and community partners to help drive equitable, human-centered learning and evaluation efforts and uplift stories that highlight the Foundation’s impact.

Laila is a leading evaluation and learning thought leader, practitioner, and researcher who was previously Associate Director of Learning & Evaluation at The Duke Endowment in North Carolina. A highly sought-after presenter and learning partner, Laila is an alum of the practice-pushing Emergent Learning program of 4th Quadrant Partners and is deeply familiar with the Results Count framework from the Annie E. Casey Foundation. She is a regular presenter at American Evaluation Association convenings.

Laila received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Winthrop University and a Master of Public Affairs in Social and Economic Policy from University of Texas at Austin, Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.
