Talent Citizen is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Rocha has joined The James Irvine Foundation as an Impact Assessment & Learning Officer. Guided by the Foundation’s Impact Assessment and Learning Framework and working across different teams, Elizabeth will help support evaluation and strategic learning efforts for the entire foundation to inform grantee, staff, and board insights and decision-making assisting in strengthening strategic and comprehensive impact efforts as the foundation grows its staff and programmatic portfolios.
Elizabeth is a Los Angeles native and was raised in the Harbor Area neighborhood of Wilmington. Prior to joining Irvine, Elizabeth was part of the Learning and Evaluation team at The California Endowment where she supported the evaluation of their investments across various sectors to inform their evolving strategy.
Her experience includes evaluating community health programs at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health in their Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention. During her time at UCSF, she coordinated national and statewide leadership training programs for health care professionals from hospitals and federally qualified health centers.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s in Public Health with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice from UC Berkeley and holds a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA.
