Connor Daley

Senior Associate | He/Him

Connor believes in the power of multi-stakeholder engagement as a driver for organizational and systems change. In this regard, he has been both an institutional actor in higher education, as well as a bearer of this principle in his search work.

He diligently works to fully understand critical imperatives for the organization, which inform the in-depth research, sourcing, and vetting of individuals who match both the position and the organization’s culture. His early immersion in strategic planning makes him well-suited to mapping and accessing networks.

Prior to joining Talent Citizen, Connor was an Associate in the External Relations & Development and Private Philanthropy practices at Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group. His portfolio spanned higher education, ed reform, and health and well-being.

He also brings first-hand perspective of the power of volunteer leadership and the search process from his time as a two-term student body president at the University of Vermont. Connor oversaw the association’s multi-million-dollar budget and coordinated 200 student organizations. He served on a number of senior administrative and academic search committees for numerous cabinet level, academic, and governance searches.

A native of Vermont, Connor is a strong advocate of the Land-Grant mission and rural economic development. He holds a B.A. in European History and was a Research Fellows at the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. In his free time, he can be found either cross-country skiing or continuing his independent scholarship in British Constitutional history.
