Lisa Catapano | Advisor

For 25 years, Lisa has served as a leadership and organizational capacity builder providing counsel to senior executives, leaders and trustees looking to grow strategic vision, advance leadership and empower transformative growth for themselves and their organizations. She brings a broad range of expertise in global strategy, human capital leadership and organizational development in both public and private sectors.

In the first decade of her career, Lisa served as Vice President of Operations in a rapid growth, public accounting and business consulting firm. There she served as a change agent leading corporate strategy and business operations, advising leaders on talent development and organizing culture, and streamlining business processes and systems. In addition, Lisa co-founded the firm’s charitable foundation serving for six years as Managing Chair overseeing all aspects of corporate philanthropy including strategic planning, grant-making, development and volunteerism.

As a former Executive Search Consultant with Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group, Lisa pursued her passion for service leadership. There she specialized in senior leadership searches including Executive Director, C-suite, Vice President and Director level positions. She has insight into a wide array of  national, regional and local non-profits spanning education, philanthropic, social justice and human services sectors with particular focus on talent acquisition in advancement, human resources, finance and operations for organizations in transformative change.


In addition, Lisa is a Certified Executive Coach and Career Strategist guiding high achieving, impact driven leaders in aligning purpose and talent for both personal and professional impact. As a former Leadership Effectiveness Director with Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College, she provided highly-tailored, executive coaching to strengthen leadership capacity of K-12 sitting principals to advance achievement for underserved students in urban district, charter and Catholic schools.

Lisa also co-founded the Newton Montessori School where she served for two years as Chair of the Board of Directors, and currently volunteers for One Night Out, a non-profit that provides free child care services for families with special needs children. Lisa earned her Juris Doctor of Law from Suffolk University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College.
